Fitz grew up immersed in real estate and Charleston’s waterways. His grandfather, WS FitzSimons, built the first townhouses for downsizing in the Historic District and his mother started the short-term rental business and is presently owner of Historic Charleston Properties and Chez Charleston rentals.
